Monica Gordon Pershey
Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing, Cleveland State University, where she teaches courses in child language and literacy development. She holds a doctorate in education from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell and is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist. Her research in language and literacy development has appeared in numerous academic journals in the fields of speech-language pathology and education. Dr. Pershey served on the board of directors of the Northern Ohio Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and is a member of the editorial boards of several academic journals.
Austin B. Barnes III
Austin Barnes is Vice-President of GLS Capital-Cuyahoga Inc. He is a former assistant prosecuting attorney for Summit County, where he served for seven years in the Child Support and Tax Divisions. During this time he also served as an adjunct faculty member at the American Institute for Paralegal Studies. Mr. Barnes is a member of the Akron Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Ohio University, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and earned a J.D. degree from the University of Akron School of Law and a Master of Taxation degree from the University of Akron School of Business Administration. Michael A. Green
Executive Sales Manager for Ameritas Insurance Corporation, a group benefits insurance company, Michael regards his love of theatre as the perfect balance in life. A graduate of Bowling Green State University in 1974, Michael has also served with The Progressive Corporation and Cole Vision Corporation. Michael has been an active participant with Cleveland theatres, including The Beck Center, Lakeland Community College, TriC, and The City of Beachwood Recreational Department’s children’s theatre program.
